Questions About Working Together

How long does the planning process take?
Most clients move through discovery, assessment, and the plan review over several weeks. The pace depends on how quickly documents come together and how much time you want between meetings to consider things.
What documents do you need to build a plan?
Typically recent tax returns, investment and retirement account statements, Social Security and pension estimates, estate documents and beneficiary designations, and any insurance policies in force. We provide a checklist and a secure way to share everything.
Do I have to move my accounts to work with you?
The first two meetings are about understanding your situation and showing you what a plan would look like. We explain exactly what implementation involves before you decide anything, and we deliberately ask you to take time to think about it.
